  38. I would have to disagree with this.  I've seen companies formed because they  
  39. found the "black market" that was willing to purchase *their* hardware and/or  
  40. software that allowed them to illegally copy software that was 'uncopyable'  
  41. through the operating system.

  43. Seeing as how LW is so very expensive and so very cool, a device (like a fake  
  44. dongle and/or even a fake/pirate LW CD!) or software that allowed you to copy  
  45. the LW CD could sell for even hundreds of dollars.

  47. I hate dongles, copy protection schemes, etc, but I also understand NewTek's  
  48. concern for their income.....  after all they need so re-sell us an upgrade of  
  49. their software every year to pay their salaries...unless they start selling  
  50. *new* copies of LW to many new customers (which *SHOULD* lower the cost for  
  51. all of us - please).
